This pepper has the "hot" quality normally associated with pepper. Though it is slightly less pungent and aromatic. It also has a slight musk flavor, which is one of it's distinguishing characteristics. White pepper is wonderful in sauces, soups, potato dishes, and beverages calling for pepper.
